As I surf the Net, I often come across pages which ooze excellence either in design, content, presentation or all of the above. This new feature "Omega's Kool Page of the Day" is my humble attempt at recognizing those who unselfishly work day in and day out at their homepage with the sole purpose of bringing some joy to the Internet population at large.
Please Note All links have been checked eff 27 Sep 98 and work! The featured pages represent some of the best in personal homepages one can find on the Net. Give it a try and see for yourself.
| One of the best Midi sites around! Contains hundreds, if not thousands of titles (I didn't count them all) and all top quality. Also has much info about setting up and playing music files and superb links. A winner. | |

| A feast for the eye. A showcase gallery of unique, computer generated artwork and graphic design. The main feature, of the site, is 'The Gallery End' but be sure also to visit the Christmas Collection/Magic section where the artist brings back the 'Christmas Magic' that we had as children through artwork and word. | |

| What a cool site. This you have to see. Shows three-dimensional, 360degree views of the Courtyard, the Hall of Mirrors and the King's Chambers. You don't need any special plug-in or add-on viewer to enjoy the show. If only to see how far the technology has advanced, run to this Kool site!Note: Give it time to load; it's worth the wait. | |

| A dream? Not likely... Adventures of a lifetime. From a trip around the world by train to Space Adventure.... all is possible! Visit this site to witness what is in store for the tourist of the 21st Century! A very Kool site indeed. | |

| Music lovers will want to bookmark this site! Select the period of time (from 1890 to today) or the composer/lyricist which interests you and off you go. A look at the bibliography page shows to what great extent the author researched his subject. As you wander through this site you will also come across some of the best Midi links! | |

| Here is a 'local type' homepage worth a visit. All Newfoundlanders will want to pay it a visit. As I live on the opposite end of the country, I make it a point to check the weather every morning and also to view the 'photo of the day'. If your schedule doesn't permit you to visit NFI, do the next best thing: take their Grand Tour and view the archived photos. If you wish to see what a 'good', well made homepage looks like... visit Newfoundland Interactive. | |

| Much work has gone into the making of this page. Lots of fun stuff for little kids. | |

| Avery nice site on astronomy. Contains material which will prove of interest to both the amateur and the professional. Professionally done as one would expect from the Peoria Astronomical Society. Definitely worth a visit. | |

| Robin states in her opening page..."There is something for everyone so... take your shoes off and stay awhile!" Having spent quite some time at her site I can vouch for the accuracy of her opening remarks. And I suggest you take her advice. Make yourself comfy because you'll be there for a while. | |

| This is one site no one interested in geography or with school-age children should be without. Here, you will find dozens, if not hundreds of links to the best available sites on the subject available today on the Net. To give an idea of the sort of link you will find at Geography World, check One World Magazine I have just spent over an hour checking various links and was simply amazed at the quality of chosen sites.
